The Return to Eternity

We are witnessing the rise of the feminine. I wrote earlier of the need to return to a balanced culture where both male and female natures are cherished. This glaring imbalance has followed us from our earliest days of the Agrarian Age. We see the horrific effects of this imbalance today in the rabid destruction of our people and planet by corporations and nation states that care only for power and control. The Masculine Energy is far out of control, to the point of destroying our very lives.

Author Valerie Tarico has expressed an interesting idea about the underlying belief codes that have been with us for these thousands of years. She notes that we are storytellers and listeners, and that some stories have prehistoric roots. Here’s the gist of it…

The Ancestral Story  

With God in his heaven and his appointed authorities in their appointed positions, all is well with the world. Hierarchy provides order and stability, and each of us has his or her place in the proper order of things. From the beginning, this has meant men over women over children, bosses or masters over workers, “chosen” bloodlines over others, powerful tribes and civilizations over weak, and humans over other animals. Creation is man’s for the taking because it was made for us, who were made in the image of God, though some more so than others. Heaven on earth is when everyone recognizes and lives properly in accordance with divinely-appointed roles and rules. Wealth and military victories accrue to the righteous.

This Ancestral Story is at the heart of the conservative mind set (as she points out), and has been the dominant theme for millennium. From these deep, deep roots we find ourselves in the wretched cultural position we are in today.

Early in this book, we presented a lesson: Life is two fundamental forces engaging to create the experience of living we so intimately know – Eternal Awareness and Energy. Yin and Yang. Female and Male. Peace and Love. Tao.  To witness and experience this balance of opposites is a great recognition.

With the emergence of World5 we finally, after all these eons, begin the return to an appreciation of the Sacred Feminine. An incorporation of feminine principles and ideals within ourselves. Letting go, forgiving, cooperating, being still – these are the essence of the finally re-emerging Feminine.

It is not metaphorical to describe our awakening as ‘A Return to Eternity’. We live within Eternity just as we do in time, and we may well be beginning to recognize This Truth with some clarity. The Totality of Now requires all of Eternity to be contained within it, and so it is. The past eaons, extending to the beginning of time, all exist Here Now. Futures near and distant, with the everflow of possibilities that we wind our way through through our choices – yep, all right Here.

One cannot wrap their head around this intellectually. One can only gain an experiential sense of This through quieting the mind and letting go of fear. Often I have tried, using my best words to tell friends of This Truth, but the drag of the old culture’s conditioning and the wounds we have suffered make it difficult to see what is. You can’t get to the experience of This Life staying in your thoughts.

Indeed, as we find our ground Here in Eternity, we recognize the never-ending, ever-ongoing nature of Life and our lives. We don’t need biological bodies to have essence. There is no fear. We need do nothing.

That said, I very much like breathing and this biological experience. Which means I will continue to breathe and hydrate and eat and work so that I can maintain this body. And I do not fear death as my awareness will continue even after my body fails.

With the recognition of our eternal nature, we have a greater sense of the true playing field we are held within.  Bodies and Earth experiences come and go. Death is no end, but a transition. Ever onward we go, always sliding through time, always Here in Eternity.

Heart of the Chaos

For those of us who study where we are as a culture, a corrupt and dark place where we approach self-annihilation, a clarity is arising. Even with the disasters set forth by nation-states, religious zealots and worse, one entity has been at the heart of our chaos.

Let me tease further. Our wars, the misery of millions, dirty water, shitty food, environmental devastation, climate chaos, and people and planet failing even now, they all have a common cause, a single source of currently unmitigated power. Welcome, friends, to the now failing world of corporatism.

Corporations.

Yes, of course, it’s the corporations. Mindless legal entities that hoard vast trillions of dollars for their owners, who are the true offenders. 9th Century Danish and English monarchies, obviously for personal gain, enabled a few special corporations. Soon enough we had the East India Company and the Hudson Bay Company, and the British Empire became a thing.

Indeed, the US Founding Fathers were acutely aware of the nature of corporations and went out of their way to contain their power in the early United States. But as we know, those controls withered over time. It’s hard to stop money’s influence. Read Howard Zinns, ‘A People’s History of the United States’.

Today the picture is crystal clear. It is corporations, a small handful in each area of our lives, that rule. A small handful of banks, wreaking havoc on a daily basis to so many. Media, healthcare, food, retail, the list is sickening. 

When I was young, we had neighbors that were around for years. Small stores on nearly every corner. Shoe repair, hardware, ‘supermarkets’ and department store were all a part of my growing up culture. What was so different? Each one of the above was owned by someone, and the next by someone else, and this was happening all across America in the post World War II boom. 

And then we saw all the little unique characters of our towns disappear as corporations replaced the vast percentage of small shops with their crap. A McDonald’s at every exit. A Walmart in every town. Heart wrenching.

Let’s be clear. The folks running the show have family names like Rothschild and Rockefeller and Walton and Coch and Morgan and on and on. Their intent is clear from their actions. They thrive on war, consumption and fear. Which mean all three deserve our resistance.

From where we see today, there is no good reason for the existence of such a legal entity. Corporations need to be decommissioned or turned into coops. If you’re war profiteers, which means you’re killing hundreds of us daily, you need to go away. If you’re Exxon or another extractor you need to go away. If you’re GMO corporation you need to go away. 

For others, we create coops from corporations. We can have honest competition, each company employee owned and each as equally interested in your experience with them as with personal gain. 

We are in transition. The old ways and systems are not responding to our deep needs The age of corporatism is coming to an end, and not a moment too soon, considering our current peril. 

The administration of Donald Trump, with a massive transfer of wealth pending in the Republican congress, proves beyond doubt that this entity, for whatever values it may have incidentally held, is inherently mindless and manipulative. 

Which is why these assholes in congress must be replaced.  Such is our task. As we awaken and engage, we cannot be stopped. We create a new world where peace and love reign, and where our current reality becomes a dim, dark past.

Breathing into Now

In these times of turbulence and trauma, there is one simple exercise we can all do that helps to heal our bodies, dissipate our fears, and increase our sense of well being and belonging. Yes, of course, it’s breathing.

Many of us recognize this incredible phenomenon, and yet it is hardly mentioned outside of New Age conversations and recognitions. Breathing. When’s the last time your doctor, if ever, suggested you take deep, aware breathes to help with a particular ailment? Right. Likely never.

Most of us go through our lives with little recognition of this healing effort. So simple, so mundane, and yet so wondrous. Indeed, it is the one practice that confirms our existence as biological beings. It’s what gets busy when we exert ourselves.  It is the force of life itself manifesting within us. 

One of the reasons this aspect of living is so neglected is the applied context of the old cultural system. In a world where we are presumed to be isolated and alone, with past and future constantly pressing us, where living in the bubble of our individuality is the norm, ignoring our breathing is to be expected.

But that doesn’t make such neglect a good thing. Far from it. 

Physiologically, breathing provides the oxygen for our cells and body processes to do their thing. On inhale, oxygen into the lungs is transferred to our blood stream, and from there to every point in our body. The exhale removes wastes and toxins from our system. It’s a remarkable and constant process.

And yet the rewards for conscious breathing are much deeper. We must deepen our view to see how this is so.

The deeper view is Life itself, this incredibly vast entanglement of awareness and energy that we all live in. Life happens only Now, and while we each of us hold our own space in this physical existence, we all necessarily share this time. Indeed, this is the only time that exists. In the temporal frame, Now is total. We all share Now. We are all Here together.

Stuck as we are in our busy little heads as we often are, our reality seems foreign. Our thoughts and worries seem far more real to us. Our emotional duress, even from events decades ago, can seem more real to us. Our belief codes, these powerful notions handed down to us by parents and culture, seem far more real to us. We have all these stories about gods and politics and the nature of things. Not true. Only Now Is True.

Check in with the animals and plants surrounding us. Where do they exist? What do they ‘do’ outside of this present experience of Life. Check your phone. When does it work, take photos or take you to some fresh clickbait? Check in with your favorite quantum physicist. Where do all these quantum entanglements happen. When does the observer affect the experiment? Yup.

So let’s circle back to our breathing. Of course it only happens now, and the impact of recognizing this truth brings grounding. Breathing connects us to this reality of Life in a way not possible through thought. In fact, thought tends to disconnect us. Thoughts reinforce the bubble mentality of being alone.

But focusing on our breathing – such a sweet way to spend this moment, to be with our bodies, connected with mind and spirit. Such a sweet bliss within this simple act as it works to help heal and find ourselves. And has we find ourselves, we find each other.

Hmmm. If thoughts tend to reinforce a bubble mentality, perhaps I should stop trying to use them to support this recognition of our common place in time.

A Nice Turn of the Wheel

Even as we are all here together, events punctuate our lives and culture.There is a deep discontent in our world and lives here in the United States. The world is degrading as are our lives, while signs of emergent sustainability and political engagement abound. Curious times.

The 2017 election brought a host of firsts, and a clear repudiation of Trumpland. 

From new governors in New Jersey and Virginia to lots of state and local races, there seems to be a real resistance to our corrupt federal government and corporations emerging. In Virginia, a transgender candidate, Danica Roem, defeated 14 term beat self declared ‘biggest homophobe in the state’ Bob Marshall. There were other ironies of a similar nature.

Across the nation minorities won a host of mayoral races, along with council seats, school boards and other local positions. And many of these folks were first time candidates, who have seemingly been coming out of the woodwork since Trump got elected.

Republicans in congress put on a ‘brave’ face, but it was clear from their reactions that this was an outcome unexpected and very disconcerting. Indeed, two republican congressmen announced they will not be seeking reelection on election night alone! Even with all the gerrymandered districts across this land, there are far less ‘safe seats’ it would seem, than there were before this election.

Do not consider this piece an endorsement of the Democratic Party. While Tom Perez, head of the DNC, was quick to rejoice at the night’s events, it was not the DNC who carried the day. It was folks rising up and showing we’re not going to take the old crap anymore. Our Revolution, Indivisible, Working Families Party and a host of local efforts to organize and get out the vote who deserve our thanks.

Let’s not forget the role women played in this election either. Both as candidates and voters, women played a substantial role in this turn around. The other notable demographic is college educated white males, suburbanites, who seem to have had enough of Trump and the Republicans. 

Here in Cincinnati, the incumbent, establishment candidate, John Cranley easily defeated the more progressive candidate, Yvette Simpson, for mayor. But in city council, two of the three new members are clear progressives, and the last seat is being contested between Jeff Pastor, a first time candidate under the mayor’s wing, and another strong progressive Michelle Dillingham. We won’t know who wins that seat until absentee and provisional ballots are counted, along with a standard recount. 

As we move toward the 2018 mid-term elections, one wonders how it will play out. Will we see Tea Party like tactics on the left, where more progressive challengers go after establishment democrats in the primaries? Will the energy of this election (some called it a Blue Wave) continue to build? Will the DNC continue to favor the wealthy donors over citizen interests?

Of course, such questions need time before we have answers. What is clear is that the November, 2017 election was a nice turn of the wheel.

The Call of Integrity

Now that we officially live in crazy times, where truth is abandoned at every turn by elites, politicians and media whores, it seems a good time to remind ourselves of the value of integrity

There are internal and external reasons why integrity has such value. While it begins and ends within each of us, Let’s start with the reasons for it in our family, community and planet that make it so essential.

We see the dysfunctionality of so many families these days, it’s an endemic disease. And there are several key components that can contribute to this dysfunction. Financial scarcity, health issues, varying ideologies, especially those between generations. The trauma of long years of abuse. Yet the simple truth is that such situations are made immensely more troubling where integrity is absent, and immensely more more tolerable where integrity is present.

The best predictor of a healthy young adult is the nurturing that took place early in life. And to receive that nurturing there must be at least one person of integrity in that child’s life. Someone they can trust.

Day to day relationships struggle immensely when one or multiple parties cannot trust each other. You cheated, you said you would do this, you didn’t come home when you said.

These same dynamics play out in our neighborhoods and communities and business dealings. Where integrity is lacking, it is easier for negative forces to play out. Our demons come out. This entire corrupt culture we live within is built on a lack of integrity. And so we suffer. With integrity we are aligning with our better angels, and in so doing we see and create a happier space.

Integrity is honesty. Period. Which allows for trust, the biggest single requisite for a successful relationship. We can have great disagreements about a situation and what’s to be done, but so long as it’s done with honesty we can move forward shoulder to shoulder with the rest of our fam, whatever ‘fam’ might mean to you, even to our global family.

Imagine if our buildings lacked integrity. Our cars. Our computers and phones. The Internet is built on an incredible base of integrity, in hardware and software – else it wouldn’t function.

For starters, we must find integrity within ourselves and hold its truth as a constant in our lives. We do not deny our faults or our feelings. We look at ourselves as clearly as possible and take care of ourselves as best we can. With practice integrity becomes a given, and we find ourselves in a more peaceful place. With integrity we’re necessarily doing our best, and with this effort finding our true selves.

Sorely lacking in this corrupt culture is trust. Indeed, these days there is little trust for our political leaders. Even less for our corporate ones. And damn little for the media.

Integrity brings trust. Integrity brings truth. Integrity brings peace and love. It is one of the great failings of this culture that it does not appreciate the critical need for integrity. And so it must continue to fail.

World 5.0 holds integrity as a key principle, part of our foundation: peace, love, integrity, justice and balance. You see, it’s right in the middle where it needs to be. If you find your life lacking, integrity is a wonderful place to begin. And a lovely space to hold.

There is nothing more impeccable than Life itself, and “Life” includes all of us in this venture. It’s call to us to be our best selves is constant.  And as we resonate with this recognition, we find peace and love. And with peace and love comes joy.

Rise of the Rainbow Tribe

We are emerging. We are finding our power. We are finding each other. We are Warriors of the Rainbow Tribe.

You of elitist tendencies cannot see us. You born into wealth and privilege cannot imagine us. You of the current power structure underestimate us. But we are Here, and we are emerging.

We are Warriors of the Rainbow. You saw us in Zuccotti Park, resisting the banksters that seek to impoverish our sisters and brothers. You saw us in Tunisia, where a brother set himself aflame in protest of corruption, awakening our people to form a new government. You saw us in Libya and Egypt, where you thwarted our efforts to create real change – if temporarily.

You saw us in Ferguson, Missouri, resisting the cold blooded murder of our brother Michael Brown finally igniting the reaction so desperately needed to stop these racially motivated murders. In Cleveland, in Chicago, LA, even my Cincinnati, all over this nation we rise to salute the fallen, and resist the blue boys and their masters, the perpetrators of this violence.

You saw us in Hong Kong, rising up against totalitarianism from the Chinese government, and in Tibet, where you illegally planted your flag over 50 years ago. You saw us in the Middle East, the unnamed peacemakers and healers hidden by mainstream media. You begin to see us even now.

And as Trump becomes the law of the land, you begin to see us everywhere. Just a few weeks back the largest protest in our planet’s history, as millions of women and supporting men stood for truth and justice. And again, as Muslims are being dishonored here in Trumpland, we stand, filling airports and neighborhoods with love and resistance to their bullshit power and greed. Our ‘leaders’ are even afraid to hold a town hall.

We are Warriors of the Rainbow.

We seek the dissolution of a culture where corporations are in control, and nation states do their bidding to keep us dazed and traumatized. This artificial legal entity ‘corporation’ – designed to usurp citizen’s rights and community strengths – must be banned.

We seek a dissolution of this system of globalization, where profits are privatized and deep environmental devastation is socialized, rarely addressed by the corporate polluters. 

We seek a dissolution of the ‘for profit healthcare’ system. When it comes to human life and health, the profit motive does not belong.

We seek a dissolution of our broken government. The allowance of voting, almost always somehow rigged, is not enough. We seek a shift in power and taxation to the local level, as far as possible, to enhance the value and focus of how our tax money is spent.

We are Warriors of the Rainbow, and we seek far more than dissolving obstacles.

We seek families and communities that thrive, where each has their needs met, each contributes what they can, and each appreciates the inherent values of integrity, peace and love. This means a clear rejection of Trumpism and the war paradigm at every turn.

We seek reparations from the elites and controlling interests who have kept us traumatized,  ignorant and enslaved. These reparations will be used to heal individuals, communities and our dear planet Earth, so long ravaged by the psychopathic thinking of these same controlling interests. Black and American Indian folks are especially deserving.

We seek wholesome, organic food that supports our bodies and unclutters our minds. To heal we must have vibrant, life-supporting nutrition and ecologies free from harmful pollutants. This migration to organic food necessarily dissolves the industrial agribiz model in favor of an Earth-supporting way of growing our food.

We seek local, sustainable solutions to our energy needs, rejecting fossil fuels at every turn. Solar and wind power, geothermal, tapping into untold power visionaries like Tesla could see – this is our energetic way forward, not in propping up fossil fuels.

We are Warriors of the Rainbow, and we see clearly now. We know we are all here together – here in Life itself. We know that our hope for peace and prosperity comes from creating and building supportive communities. We value integrity and personal responsibility. We know that relinquishing fear, enabling love and peace, in our hearts  and minds, is the way forward.

We are the Rainbow Tribe. Our time is Now. Our answer is Love.
